Biography
Splitting her time between Colorado and Illinios, Sarah Skiöld-Hanlin, began her art career sculpting animals out of mud from the pond in her backyard. A passionate interdisciplinary academic, creator, and traveler, Sarah draws inspiration from the natural world, intellectual curiosities, and cultures across the globe while maintaining a playful raw element to her body of work.
Through illustration, Sarah combines precision pen work with patterns, geometry, texture, and freehand forms showcasing the literal, abstract, and figurative ways she experiences the world.
